Hebrews 6:19 ~ Now we have this hope as sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, it can not break down under whoever steps out upon it – a hope that reaches farther and enters into the very certainty of the Presence within the veil.
Hope can be an elusive fixation upon those whose hearts are yearning for the promise that has been just beyond their grasp, perhaps for what seems like an eternity. Yet, the Word of God reminds us that we have a hope which is likened to an anchor. The anchor fixes itself securing deep within the promise of eternal finality… God’s everlasting Love.
Often times Images of Hope are revealed through the windows of our soul, revealing glimpses only God can see in the storms our trials tend to ride upon. Words collide in the viewfinder of my mind reminding me of the confidence we have in our approach toward grace.
Hope, Patience, Perserverance, Healing, Deliverance, Confidence, Humility, Purpose, Redemption
Hebrews 10:23-24 ( Amp) declares a simple truth… approach, draw near, and hold fast.
“Let us all come forward and draw near with true hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction engendered by faith, …. So let us seize and HOLD FAST and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He who promised is reliable and faithful to His Word.”
Hebrews 10:35-36 reminds us of the importance of being rooted in that confidence and holding tight to the anchor of hope.
” Do not therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God and thus receive and carry away what is promised. “
Patience is an image of hope’s calling revealing the the essence of a stilled soul content with the nearness of God in our affections.
What is it that we may find at the end of this boundless journey in hope? Proverbial Wisdom, Animated Revelation, Redounding Joy
If our desolation brings us, instead, to the awakening of our soul-need for the One who has called us from the very beginning, to come, let us never hesitate to take the journey to that expected end.
There is a place, in our lives, where we become increasingly aware of this growing need. Often it can be a daily revelation where we find the end of the journey already laid before us on this paved path of traveling. It beckons us to the higher places where the path is narrow and the obstacles are numerous.
The path to mountain-top hope-filled living, is a journey laced with difficulties and joys, but the trek is worth the effort. We are often compelled by the hard-lined rocky crags of life’s prevailing lessons, where knees are bruised and skin is cut sore, bleeding away the refuse of the shell we wear, and yet we are still drawn closer and closer to the light of hope’s promise. We are essentially drawn deeper into that veiled sanctuary of hope beautifully portrayed as both a reward and a prize; entering the Holy of Holies in awed wonder.
However, is this coveted prize only situated ahead of us, on the finish line? Is the realization of the goal really our prize? Or is the beauty embedded in the brokenness, freckling the faces of life which penetrate the covering of our heart. These Images of Hope, resilient and full of purpose, are just needing just a touch. A touch of Holy Anointed Love where communion and grace are all bound together in crimson scarlet, tying and linking hearts, filling minds, uniting hands, and moving feet further on.
The beautiful journey to the desolate will unveil the mystery and majesty of the broken and shattered into a mosaic of blissful grandeur.
Life is found in the journey and the Hope Images we capture on the way.
Praying for you to capture those images of grace and mercy in hope-filled moments today.
May His love quietly resonate within the boundaries of your soul so completely that it overflows and touches each person you meet.
Blessings !
