I lift my eyes toward peace Psalm 121 a

 ~Psalm 121~

I will lift up my eyes to the hills from where does my help come,

My help comes from the  LORD, who made heaven and erth.

He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved;  he who keeps you will not slumber.

Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is a shade on your right hand.

The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.

The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

At every turn of the globe, as the sun is rising or setting, I am ever more increasingly aware of the peace of God which passes all understanding  that  is consistently governing each moment of my living.

And I am humbled.

Sometimes, it isn’t the living that overwhelms me… it is the being in His presence which shakes my very core.

And I am undone.

In this place I can know Him more deeply; hear Him more clearly; and see him truly.  It is here, where I lift my head in anticipatory revelation.

  • He is the help brightly shining in my day.
  • He is the hope sweetly singing in my soul.
  • He is the promise  gently guiding my future.

In every state of being…. in grace, trials, joy, or revelation…. it is the peace of His presence which lifts my eyes upward to gaze upon glory’s everlasting promise of hope.

Today, I pray, you will find your eyes drawn upward

in anticipation of hope’s promise of help

in each circumstance of the journey.

Blessings and Prayer,
