In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
The True light, came into the world, which illuminates every person.
He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him,
the world did not recognize Him.
He came to his own, those who belonged to Him,
but they did not receive Him or welcome Him.
As many as received him, to them He gave the power to become children of God.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth.
Out of His fullness, we have received one grace after another
and spiritual blessing upon blessing
and even favor upon favor
and gift heaped upon gift.
For while the Law was agiven by Moses,
grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
John 1: 1-5,9-12, 14, 16-17
Today as we contemplate the coming celebration of His Ressurrection, don’t forget to remember the beginning. Our origin exists in Him, as He is in Creation and present in all things… just as He was from the first. The beauty of His grace and favor, heaped upon one another, is bound in the ultimate abundance which is still offered to each of us.
We only need to recieve Him exactly as He is.
Praying for His full illumination to erupt within you today.
~Blessings~
