bloom in your spring season Isaiah 35

I love the book of Isaiah, there is profound hope lining the pages of  the prophet’s words. Most of this book points to the promised Messiah, what greater joy could he have shared but the coming of the true source of hope and  new life. Isaiah 35  tells us about the return of the Lord to Mount Zion and the jubilee which will occur with that arrival. Most importantly, it talks about blooming from the desert places; where  joy, gladness, and healing will replace the sorrow, defeat, and lack and finally hope is restored.

I have been thinking of the hearts who are needing the fragrance of spring to burst upon their winter wilderness and it occured to me that often we forget to bloom where we are planted. Sometimes, we long so deeply for the fertile field adjacent to us that we miss the bud that has formed from the branches we are perched upon.

Wherever you are, the season is ripe for the blossom to break forth.  Let your wildnerness places be the cavern of hope which prepares for the blossoms that spring’s  season promises.

It is when we bloom, the moment our petals reach towards the light of the Sun, that we shine brilliantly and reveal the glory and excellent plan of God for us and those He has placed in our garden of love.

“The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad: the desert shall rejoice and bloom like the rose and autumn crocus. It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the excellency of Mount Carmel and the plain of Sharon.  They shall see the glory of the Lord, the majesty and splendor and excellency of  our God.”
~ Isaiah 35:1-2

Bloom in the beauty of His light shining into a new season of hope and prosperity.
