Sundays are days we need to soak in His Word, let it resonate in our souls and settle deep into a Sabbath rest of the heart. May the reminder of His promises be a balm to you as we seek Him first in each of our journeys.Join me each Sunday for a reminder to take a soul stop in the power of His Word and be rejuvenated for the week ahead.
Luke’s first chapter always, always, always sparks a faith fire in my soul. The miracles, the angels, the promises, the hope, the changed lives, the births and the songs.
I sit in awe of what God has done….Worship always brings me to my knees in wonder.
Mary’s is one of my favorite songs of prayer in the Bible. Her song leads us to consider the powerful omniscient God who set aside heaven and inhabited the womb of a girl.
She Believed.
When she believed, the eternal made a home in the life-building place within, because nothing with God is impossible.
And doesn’t He always build life when we choose to believe in Him… The inability of man can never limit the posterity of God.
Because she believed, the fullness of His glory filled her and was manifested…just like He promised.
- She believed, when it wasn’t the easiest, most popular, or comfortable.
- She believed when she knew it would cost her all of her life.
- She believed when she chose to humble her heart and receive the blessing for what it was.
- She kept and guarded these things in her heart…and she believed.
Believing is key to our seeing… seeing in our heart allows us to walk by faith in impossible situations.
What impossible thing has been spoken into your heart by the Lord?
Believe in the pregnant possibility of what HE has already revealed to you that He can do.
Believe that His best is better than your perception of good.
Believe that no matter what, He will not lead you away from His heart but closer and closer into the stronghold of his grip.
Believe that He will fulfill in you, that what He has already spoken into your existence will be manifested by His presence.
Believe the unbelievable and trust the trustworthy.
As you rest close in the knowledge that He can be trusted, He will do what He says, He will fulfill His plans and you will create a song of praise from the depth of you soul.
For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.
And Blessed…happy and to be envied… is she who believed that there will be a fulfillment of the things that were spoken to her from the Lord.
And Mary said, My soul magnifies and extols the Lord, And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
For He has looked upon the low station and humiliation of His handmaiden. For behold from now on all generations [of all ages] will call me blessed and declare me happy and to be envied!
Luke 1:37,45-48
I loved, “believe that his best is better than your perception of good.” I love trusting God with everything. It makes life so much easier. It makes motherhood more enjoyable. I do not have to be so hard on myself if things do not go as I planned because I have trusted in God. When kids get sick, I don’t have to go online and think of the worst possible thing that could happen because I know that God has it covered. They belong to him and who knows what’s best for them better than the Lord? … I love the Lord and all he does. What an awesome feeling it is to believe. Thanks for this beautiful post. 🙂
