Sundays are days we need to soak in His Word, let it resonate in our souls and settle deep into a Sabbath rest of the heart. May the reminder of His promises be a balm to you as we seek Him first in each of our journeys.Join me each Sunday for a reminder to take a soul stop in the power of His Word and be rejuvenated for the week ahead.

love sent a way

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish  but have eternal life.

John 3:16

I have been camping in the book of John as of late, journaling through the words scribed by the disciple who reminds us of the simplicity of faith. Perhaps the most quoted scripture, used so often to lead others to know Truth (defined in John 14:6), and to encourage those who need to know that purpose for His coming.

Love is enough,friends.

Love wins in the end.

Love is the way.

And friends…oh friends… because His heart beat and bled for us, He made a way that we could be close. He sent a portion of Himself… He sent his heart our way.

Jesus.

john 316

And His words remind us over and over that it is the heart of Father that is seen boldly inscribed in red.

Red letter words make us think… they stop us and the point a way.

And these words that speak of love and people and the power of grace poured out red and dripping through LOVE, they are the key to living a life that is extraordinary and that is visionary.

Love makes us act unlike the world, so that the world finds the courage to let the Father meet close.

And when we choose to believe in this One who bled love because His heart beat strong for the redemption that we needed death is exchanged for life.

The Gospel is based on Love and we need to spill it friends.
